Ninty Days Acne battle to Victory

In August I have decided to join the face lifting marathon through the face yoga/ massage online group. My excitement and urge to fix my wrinkles blinded me to the degree that it wiped all my knowledge and principles out of how to proceed with the skin novelty that may cause side effects. I have dove into this massage insanity so fast and hard that I even decided to ignore the signs of skin purging. 

On Day 5 of my massage routine, I had suddenly noticed a few breakouts forming on my forehead, temples and neck. That followed with the saddest morning I could recall for years of waking up to having a complete blowout of acne covered across my entire face and neck. 

It was clear the face yoga / massage had incited a skin contamination. That’s when I declared WAR on this skin disaster and knowing that I was in for a good and long battle of at least 90days If I was lucky!

There it was a 90 days battle exactly which began in mid-August 2020 and was successfully completed in early December 2020. What a fantastic Christmas present it was,
just priceless!

90 Days Acne battle to Victory

I have won that battle only because I knew how to handle the emotional and physical part of the climbing leader process. It was not an easy journey as it did require discipline, determination and a strong mindset. 

The recipe to clear skin is simple but not easy because you look at yourself in the mirror and get discouraged by its reflection.

I did have a perfect supplement and topical skin range, but the mindset, diet and exercise had to be there as well.

Because it was me who was battling the skin condition, all I had to do was to adjust my diet slightly and work on my mindset as the exercise was there all the time.

So I knew that I was in for at least ninety days, so I have laid down the plan and executed it. I’ve made a 30 days plan that I had to repeat three times. The rules were simple so were the goals.  

Ten Steps to take

  1. Keep your hands off your face at all times, even when it feels itchy or uncomfortable. Apply NZEALTH Skin Freedom Face Cream as a spot on treatment when it feels like it is bothering you. This cream is calming and healing so it will take care of the zits.
  2. Print a photo of yourself when you’ve had perfect skin in 3, 4 copies. Place those photos everywhere you work, and look at yourself in the mirror. Remember, what you see when you look at the mirror is not what you look like. It is a test that you have to pass, and you are halfway there. 
  3. Under no circumstances you touch or squeeze your pimples.

  10. Cut out the sugar completely and avoid the alcohol.   11. Avoid modified and overly processed foods, filled with preservatives additives and nasties those a toxic!. Meditation technique

  1. Take one of those meditation tunes I have designed for you. There are 6 Wellness tracks in total. Start with Wellness track 1 and progress to the next track every two weeks. This music takes you to a particular brain frequency where you can relax to the optimal level.
  2. Find a quiet place in your house where nobody will disturb you.
  3. Put on a pair of good quality headphones, preferably noise cancelling.
  4. Sit comfortably in the position you prefer for optimal relaxation. You can lie down or obtain a meditative position; it is totally up to you.
  5. We do recommend performing meditation using each music track for 14 days. You should commit to 15 minutes a day minimum. You can replay this tune as many times as you want. 
  6. Pick the affirmation you want to focus on, close your eyes, and cycle this affirmation in your mind repeatedly until the music stops.
  7. During affirmation, cycling pushes away any other thoughts, so keep cycling your affirmation. 
  8. You may feel that you are about to drift away from your affirmation. In this case, you can move your lips lip-sync the affirmation as it helps to refocus on what you are doing.

Commit to this 10 steps routine for 90 days and keep practising it daily.

My mum always told me: “Your day starts in your bedroom”, which made me wonder why such things in life matter and how exactly they can start my day?
It May sound like banality for many hence why we will zoom into the fundamentals of it.
 
To start with, It may feel like a small achievement yet, making your bed sets the theme of success for the entire day!
You want to know the benefits and how it affects your life? Let’s look into it closely
 

  1.  It makes your bedroom look awesome immediately, makes you feel organized and thus lifts your mood!

Your Microbiome: Your First and Last Line of Defense

Your body is home to a remarkable ecosystem known as your microbiome—a living shield made of trillions of beneficial bacteria that protect you from viruses, pathogens, and environmental toxins. This flora doesn’t just live inside your gut—it thrives on your skin, in your airways, and even on the surface of your hands. But here’s the thing: in our obsession with cleanliness, we’ve gone too far. Constant hand-washing, scrubbing, and chemical sanitizing may feel protective, but they often do more harm than good. While it’s important to stay hygienic, overdoing it—especially with harsh hand sanitizers—wipes out the good bacteria alongside the bad, leaving your immune system exposed and untrained.

Our bodies aren’t meant to live in sterile environments. They’re built to adapt, respond, and defend. A healthy balance of hygiene means cleansing without stripping your skin’s protective microbiome. Washing your body morning and night is more than enough. But scrubbing your hands obsessively or slathering them in alcohol-based sanitizers can backfire, weakening your immunity and making you more vulnerable—not less.

When the world went into panic mode during the peak of COVID, I remember thinking: how can we turn this fear into something lighter, more hopeful? That’s when a little idea sparked—what if we made hand-washing fun instead of fear-driven? That’s how the “Hand-Washing Ritual” poem was born. Inspired by the saying “a little bit of something is better than a whole lot of nothing”, it was my way of flipping the narrative from problem to playful solution.

The Hand-Washing Ritual
A light-hearted poem for a balanced clean

Soap bar in your hands, water flowing just right,
Roll it ‘til it foams, a soft candy-white.
Lather with rhythm, make it a song,
Say your name twice—it won’t take long.

Rinse till it squeaks, no residue trace,
Dry with a towel, no need to race.
Do it with care, not all day long—
Too much scrubbing? That’s where we go wrong.

Protect your flora, don’t wipe it away,
It’s your natural shield, come what may.
Hand-wash wisely, not out of fear,
And let your body’s wisdom steer.

Pantheon Visit

The end of July 2015 throwback into the hottest day I could recall in my memory being travelling Italy. Perhaps it was a combination of temperature and intense schedule for the day, or maybe it was my own barometer of a lifetime experience telling me its data.
The Pantheon visit was my first eye-opening in Rome. It was literally 1,520 square meters of pure astonishment within timeless experience!
The beauty of it was just breathtaking to the point where one does not notice anything but the presents of history and oneself in its equation.
It was the momentum of deep meditation a complete withdrawal from the reality yet so real and so existent to the extend.
Every wall every column every statue and every painting made you look listen and feel with the sensation of being hypnotised.

It was so eccentric to find out that the Oculus which is beautifully sitting in the centre of the ceiling was the only light source of the dome. It was cleverly designed to play a particular purpose of the light moving towards different parts of the temple. The lighting trick would fall on a particular part of the temple each hour of the day was telling me a story of its certainty. If I could only stand there all day taking notes of where the light has pointed at what hour, I would probably be able to draw a full spectacle of the daily events that were taken at this place in ancient times.

If the camera could only capture the allure and memorisation to take away with you as a proof of foreseen it would have been it.
But no… only my brain could capture that experience to complete pettiness of the photographs taken.
Nor photos or videos could ever befall profundity of such an experience. No matter how many pictures you have seen in the books or movies with it unless you have sighted it for yourself, you have not seen it at all!

The Pantheon by Lord Byron (1788–1824) will round it up pretty well:

Lunch at Er Faciolaro

Lunch at Er Faciolaro

Er Faciolaro is a little restaurant based in Rome Colonna just 2 minutes away from Pantheon. I have actually picked that place to stop for a quick lunch only because I was stunned by its striking front exterior with the Fresco sitting between the windows.

It was such a hot day that all I could think of is a salad and the coffee, and so it was beautiful “Insalata Caprese” and “Long black”! It was served almost instantly, don’t you just love how quickly they serve food in Italy? I still don’t know how they do it!

My Caprese salad was to die for, beautiful textures and fresh flavours of mozzarella and sun-loved ripen tomatoes harmonised with the sweetness of basil aged balsamic and pungency of extra virgin chilly infused olive oil – simply food of the Gods!

My brain was screaming from an abundance of flavours, leaving a score of an utter satisfaction of the experience. I literally felt how my neurons were firing, making electricity while charging my body with the energy to carry the day. That’s what I call Food for Fuel with an efficient exchange of nutrition for pure energy!

Arrival to Rome

Rome is one of those magnificent places that have incredible energy about it, as soon as you put your feet down on its soil you have this charge this science of remarkable authenticity!

As soon as we arrived, we had the feeling of an old soul filling the space all over the place with the romance, beautiful places, delicious food, bubbly people and brim history.

We have stopped at the hotel Delle Nzioni located right in the heart of Rome, with only a few minutes walk to IΙ Tempio di Adriano, Trevi Fountain, Marcus Aurelius Column, Pantheon, Domus Aurea and many amazing restaurants and Gelato shops.

We did not eat Hotel food at all as there were so many lovely eating options available nearby, so we took our chances! Plus because the whole family is always on intermittent fasting which we break at about 1 to 2 pm, it was easy for us to keep our routines going as we mainly were focusing on eating out at dinner time.

We would exercise outside as a family first thing in the morning while we were in Rome, we would plan all our trips to the sights from 10 am to 4 pm to nail all the places we wanted to visit. We would feast for lunch on the sugar-free protein bar or small salad during our sightseeing we would equip with sugar-free electrolyte sachets to fuel our water drinking two or three bottles on the go. Mind you running around for five or six hours nonstop at 30-35 ºC was not easy, so electrolyte was saving our lives!

There wasn’t much of a view from our Hotel window to sight on but surely enough sighting for me, as I have an absolute fascination about Italian Balconies with setting around it hence why it is on this post, merely humble but very authentic.

Victoria Memorial Monument “Sneak Peek” at Buckingham Palace

That was one of those busy Sunny mid-July days transiting through London back in 2015 having only one day for everything essential to be seen and experienced.

Sounds like an impossible task to tick off your list, especially when you are tired, jet-lag and family of Four with two Teenagers at 40 degrees Celsius.

We literally had to gallop through London visiting all the historical places fast and hard like a crazy bunch!
Here we are at Victoria Memorial Monument right behind legendary Buckingham Palace which we couldn’t visit but only could sight from a distance walking around its gorgeous fence.

Then and there it felt like not a big deal not to be able to visit Buckingham Palace. Especially when we live in a world of full access to the media of any place you want to see pretty much, just by the click of your fingertips you can google anything you want.

The only thing is it is not quite the same to be there at present with all the six senses involved, particularly with your loved once around recording this very moment of the precious and unforgettable experience.
Oh well,C’est la Vie! Next time certainly we will swing by and make sure we have ticked the box “Buckingham Palace” √ Done!
